Dr. Ron Erkis was born and raised in the Columbus area. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University and the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine. He completed his orthodontic residency at the University of Pittsburgh. He has been in the practice of orthodontics for over 34 years in the Columbus area. Dr. Erkis is a member of several professional organizations including the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, the Columbus Dental Society, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Great Lakes Association of Orthodontists, and the National Board of Orthodontists. He is on the orthodontic and pediatric dental faculty at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and has been teaching interceptive orthodontics at Nationwide Children’s Hospital for over 25 years.  He spends his personal time with his wife Joyce and their four grandchildren.  He also makes time for golf and following the Buckeyes.

Dr. Lynnsay Hickman:

Dr. Lynnsay Hickman is originally from Wheelersburg, Ohio. She first obtained a Bachelor of Science in Education from The Ohio State University in 2000, and then graduated from OSU College of Dentistry in 2004. Dr. Hickman also received her Master of Science and Specialty Certificate of Orthodontics from The Ohio State University — she is truly a Buckeye! Dr. Hickman is a member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, the Columbus Dental Society, the American
Association of Orthodontists, and the Great Lakes Association of Orthodontists. She has also successfully completed the American Board of Orthodontics Written Examination, making her eligible for ABO Certification, a distinction held by only a small percentage of orthodontists.

Dr. Hickman’s hobbies include reading, yoga, tennis, jogging, and spending time with her friends and family. She and her husband, Kyle, reside in Columbus. Both Dr. Erkis and Dr. Hickman continue to study orthodontics to stay current on the latest developments in the field. They also enjoy
contributing their free time to their community, and they continue to support
local schools and their organizations.
